Pecan Pie
1 lb. box brown sugar
1 stick margarine, melted
2 tbsp. corn meal
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 cup milk
3 tsp, vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
2 (9") pie shells
Mix all ingredients and pour into 2 shallow pie shells or 1 large deep shell. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 - 45 minutes or until set.

Chocolate Pie
2 1/2 cups sugar
7 tbsp, cocoa
pinch salt
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
tall can evaporated milk
1 stick margarine, melted
2 cups flaked coconut
1/2 cup pecans
2 unbaked pie shells
Mix sugar, salt and cocoa together. Add eggs and mix well . Stir in vanilla and milk. Add melted margarine and mix. Fold in coconut and nuts. Pour into 2 unbaked pie shells and bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
