Fried Pie Pastry
4 cups flour
1/4 tsp, salt
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup CRISCO
1 egg
Enough milk to make a stiff dough. Rollout dough. Cut in circles. Place fruit on one-half of circle. Fold over and seal. Fry in oil. Pastry will last in refrigerator for several days.

Apple Pie
1 1/2 cups chopped apples
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 stick melted butter or margarine
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
Put apples in unbaked pie shell. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees until apples are done, (35 to 40 minutes).
