Pineapple Cake
1 stick margarine
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs
2 cups plain flour
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
pineapple
Mix well. Bake in four layers at 350 degrees. Spread a thin layer
of icing on top of each layer. Put pineapple on top of that.
Icing
1 large can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 stick butter
2 cups white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Mix well. Bring to a boil. Cook 35 to 40 minutes in a heavy pot.
Be sure to stir often from bottom. When it is half-cooled, add
one-half cup of evaporated milk. Beat until smooth.
