Sour Cream Pound Cake
3 cups sugar
2 stick butter
1/4 cup CRISCO (4 tbsp.)
1 cup sour cream
3 cups cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring (optional)
6 eggs, separated
Cream butter, CRISCO and sugar; add egg yolks, one at a
time, beating well after each. Sift flour, baking powder and
salt; add alternately with sour cream and milk. Add flavoring
to mixture. Fold in egg whites that have been beaten
with 1/4 cup sugar. Bake in 10" tube pan, greased and floured
for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 300 degrees.

My Cheesecake
graham cracker crust in 8" oven-proof" pie plate
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of salt
Blend together last 6 ingredients. Bake in prepared crust 25
minutes at 325 degrees. While warm, add topping.
Topping
2 tbsp. sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp, vanilla
