Spaghetti Sauce
1 lb. ground chuck
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 large can tomato sauce
1/2 tbsp, Italian seasoning
1/2 tbsp. ground oregano
1 large bay leaf
1/2 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tsp, sugar
Brown meat, add onion and pepper. Cook until tender. Pour off grease. Add sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for at least 2 hours. (Better when cooked the day before serving.) Serve with noodles and garlic bread. Also good; add 3 or 4 Italian sausages with sauce and seasonings.

Barbecued Meat Balls
1 lb. ground chuck 1 egg 1/2 cup oatmeal 1/4 cup onions 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 cup tomato sauce
Sauce
1 cup prepared barbecue sauce
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
Mix all together and form into walnut-sized balls. Place in a casserole dish and cover with sauce. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
