Roll Recipe
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
11/2 cup warm water
2 tbsp. and 2 packs yeast
4 cups bread flour
Dissolve yeast in warm water and add all the rest of the ingre dients.
While making up rolls, turn oven on warm. Put dough
in a wellgreased bowl and let rise until double in bulk. Pull
dough offwith your hands and put in pan. Let rise again in
warm oven. Bake at 350 degrees until done.

White Loaf Bread
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. shortening
1 1/3 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cup warm water
2 tbsp. yeast
4 cups bread flour
Mix sugar, shortening, warm water, yeast and salt. Add the
flour last. Knead about 10 minutes. I use a food processor to
mix. Let rise until double in bulk. Divide dough to make 2
loaves and roll with rolling pin. Fold over and press together
with rolling pin. Place in 2 loaf pans. Let rise approximately
1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
