Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cup self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. clove
1/2 tsp, nutmeg
8 oz. package chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup coconut
Melt butter and add sugar. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spoon out on cookie sheet and bake at 250 degrees until light
brown.

Blondies
1 cup soft margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
2 eggs
2 cups unsifted flour
1 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 (6 oz.) package chocolate chips
Place all ingredients, except chocolate chips and nuts in large
bowl. Mix on lowest speed of mixer or by hand until well
blended, scraping sides and bottom of bowl constantly. Stir
in half the nuts and chocolate chips. Grease a baking sheet.
Spread dough evenly on baking sheet. Sprinkle top with remaining
nuts and chocolate chips. Bake in 350 degree oven
for 20 - 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
