Lemon Pie
1 lemon juice and rind
2 eggs
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sugar
1 large tbsp. butter
2 large tbsp. cornstarch
Blend sugar and corn starch. Add lemon and water. Cook until
thick. Add well-beaten egg yolks. Top with 2 egg whites, 1 tablespoon
water, 4 level tablespoons of sugar and pinch of cream of
tartar. Brown in medium oven.

Kitchen Sink Cookies
1 cup coconut
1 cup RICE KRISPIES
1 cup oatmeal
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 cup margarine
1 cup salad oil
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp, soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Mix all ingredients and drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie
sheet. Bake at 325 degrees. I add nuts and butterscotch chips.
