Blueberry Dessert
1/4 cup brown sugar
2/3 stick margarine
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup plain flour
2 packages grape gelatin
2 cup hot water
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 tablespoon sugar
1 package whipped topping mix
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tbsp. vanilla
Crust
Mix together the first four ingredients. Pat into bottom of a
IO-inch oven proof dish. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
Cool.
Middle layer
Prepare gelatin with hot water. Add the pineapple and pie
filling. Pour onto cooled crust. Refrigerate. When congeal ed,
top with topping.
Topping
Cream together the sugar and cream cheese . Whip together
the milk and topping mix. Blend the two mixtures togeth er
and spread on top of blueberry mixture. A few nuts may be
sprinkled on top. Refrigerate for about 3 hours.
